Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President and CEO: Haruo Naito) announced today that the Eisai Group will provide donation of over JPY 20 million through the World Health Organisation or the Red Cross to aid relief efforts for victims of the earthquake that struck the Republic of Haiti on January 12, 2010. This contribution will comprise USD 100,000 from Eisai Co., Ltd. in addition to donations from the Company’s U.S. (USD 100,000), European (GBP 25,000 as a matching gift) and Asian subsidiaries.
